Teresa Raczek

Teresa Raczek, 71, passed away Wednesday (January 10, 2018) at Overlook Hospital in Summit with her family by her side. Born in Zdunska-Wola, Poland, she was a longtime resident of Irvington. Teresa was the owner and operator of Clinton Deli in Irvington for many years before retiring. She was an avid reader and loved her card games. As the Owner of Clinton Deli she provided a shelter,food ,good advice,her time and her heart to hundreds of emigrants ,coming from the old country.She was a very generous woman and will be remembered for it. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrzej and a long time companion Casey.Surviving are her daughter, Agnieszka Wyrzuc; her son Tomasz, grandchildren Roxana,Kai,Julia,Jacob ,Maya.and Emilia. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. R.C. Church 537 Grove St., Irvington, on Saturday, January 20th at 9 AM. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting donations for the orphanage in Teresa's home town. Arrangements are by Parkway Wozniak Memorial Home in Clark.
