Stefania G. Imiolek

Stefania G. Imiolek, age 92, of Rahway, NJ, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday November 26, 2020, with her family by her side.

Ms. Imiolek was born in Marianow, Poland, to Wladyslaw and Marianna Imiolek. At the start of World War II, she and her family were forcibly relocated from Poland to Siberia. The Imiolek family eventually made their way to the United States in 1952 by way of Zambia and England. Ms. Imiolek resided in Irvington, moving to Rahway in 1978. She worked in the stocking department of Plessey Dynamics, Inc. of Hillside for many years. Ms. Imiolek was a longtime parishioner and pillar of Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Irvington, helping in the planning of many different events over the years.

She is predeceased by her parents and her brothers, Ireneusz Imiolek and Henry Imiolek. She is survived by her sister, Danuta Filus, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom will greatly miss her.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation on Monday November 30, 2020, from 4- 8 pm, at the Parkway Wozniak Memorial Home 211 Westfield Avenue, Clark, NJ 07066. A Funeral Ceremony will begin on Tuesday December 1, 2020 at 8:45 am, at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am, at the Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Irvington. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, kindly offer donations to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Building Fund.
