Peter J. Krupa

Peter J. Krupa, age 96, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 2, 2020 at the Care One at Hanover, Whippany. 

Mr. Krupa was born in Newark, to Piotr and Antoinette, he was a longtime resident of Irvington and most recently Woodbridge. He honorably served in the US Army as a PFC during WWII and was engaged during the Battle of the Bulge. Mr. Krupa worked for the Continental Can Co. of NY, NY for 34 years as an accountant. 

Mr. Krupa is survived by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by nine siblings; Stanislawa Krupa, Stephania Semak, Helen Byrnes, Adele McKeon, Emily Cutaia, Fred Krupa, Teresa, Mary, and John Dudzinski.

A Private Committal Service will be offered on Monday April 6, 2020 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Orange. Plans for a Memorial Mass celebrating his life are postponed while the State of New Jersey endures the limitations surrounding travel and gatherings. In lieu of flowers, kindly offer donations to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Building Fund 537 Grove St. Irvington, NJ 07111.
