Jan Golen

Jan Golen, age 83, of Irvington, passed away at his residence on Sunday December 20, 2020.

Born in Samocice, Poland, to Wladyslaw and Julia Golen, Mr. Golen resided in Union for many years and most recently, Irvington. Mr. Golen worked as a molder for the American Aluminum Casting Company of Irvington for 15 years. He was a longtime parishioner and member of the Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Irvington.

Mr. Golen is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Maria (nee Ciepiela); one son, Wladyslaw Golen and his wife Elzbieta; two grandchildren, Ewelina Golen and Mateusz Golen; one great grandchild Jaden Golen.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation on Tuesday December 22, 2020, from 5- 8 pm, at the Parkway Wozniak Memorial Home 211 Westfield Avenue Clark, NJ 07066. A Funeral Ceremony will begin on Wednesday December 23, 2020 at the funeral home, at 8:45 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am, from the Sacred heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Irvington. Interment, Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA. In lieu of flowers, kindly offer donations in Jan's name, to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Building Fund 537 Grove Street Irvington, NJ 07111.
