Peter J Wierzbicki

South Orange – Peter J. Wierzbicki, 92, passed away peacefully on August 10, at his residence in South Orange. Born in Mahwah to Joseph and Agnes Wierzbicki, he was a long time resident of South Orange.

Visitation will be held at Parkway Wozniak Memorial Home 211 Westfield Avenue, Clark on Monday from 6-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 10 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Irvington followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Donations in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.wounded warriorproject.org) would be appreciated.

Pete served in the U S Army during WWll and was the recipient of the Purple Heart for wounds received. He was the owner of Crestmont Florist in Irvington with his wife Dorothy; and was a member of the Holy Name Society at Sacred Heart Parish in Irvington.

Mr. Wierzbicki was pre deceased by his wife Dorothy in 2013. He is survived by his daughters JoAnn Grandal and Margaret Wierzbicki; his grandchildren Melissa, Amanda, Thomas and William; and his great grandchildren Makaylab, Emilya, Eliyana, Sadie and Dexter.
