Josef "Joe" Derdzikowski

     Joseph "Joe" Derdzikowski, age 84, died peacefully at his residence on Thursday January 4, 2018. Beloved husband for over 62 years of Anna M. (nee Paszkowski). Loving father of Wanda Derdzikowski of Gillette, Joseph Derdzikowski and his wife Roberta of Berkeley Heights. Devoted grandfather of Ashely, Joseph A., and Anastasia Derdzikowski.

     Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral on Tuesday January 9, 2018, at 8:30 am, from the Parkway Wozniak Memorial Home/Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, NJ 07066, thence to Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Irvington, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am. Entombment, Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visitation is on Monday 4-8 pm.

     Born in Poland, to Boleslaw and Katarzyna Derdzikowski, Joe lived in Irvington for many years before moving to Berkeley Heights 43 years ago. Joe was a member of the Polish Falcons, he was an active member at Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church helping with many things including the local food drives, as well as, Veteran supply drives. He helped with Christmas tree sales at St. Vincent DePaul Church in Sterling. Joe was most passionate about gardening, music, helping those in need, but most importantly, his grandchildren.
