Estelle M. (Janda) Rawa

Estelle M. Rawa, nee Janda, age 92 of Fords, passed away peacefully at the JFK Haven Hospice, Edison.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to the Visitation on Friday April 12, 2019, 4:00 to 8:00 pm and the Funeral Service on Saturday April 13, 2019, 10 am, at the Parkway Wozniak Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark. Interment, St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Repast to follow at Luciano’s, Rahway.
Born in Newark, to Michael and Sophie Janda, Mrs. Rawa resided in Irvington and Fords for the past 30 years. Mrs. Rawa worked for over 10 years as a secretary for the Prudential Life Insurance Co. of Newark and served as an Election worker at the Polls.  Was a Devoted Mom and Loving Grandma. She was a longtime Parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Irvington. Mrs. Rawa loved word search puzzles, Dancing With The Stars and American Idol.
Mrs. Rawa is survived by 1 son Anthony S. Rawa, Jr.; 1 daughter Joan DiGiovanni ; Son in Law Nicholas DiGiovanni; 1 grandson Michael DiGiovanni and several Nieces and Nephews.  She is predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony S. Rawa, Sr. (2008); 1 sister Louise Homentowski.
